Sam Song, friend of Pastor Sam, came to visit the Center for Christian Statesmanship. Then later, I saw Pastor Sam Ling at Pastor Tree’s house. Lenny also came. A group of people were there to ask questions about which seminary is good and stuff.

Basically, the Chinese seminaries are not up to par. Westminister is very academic, Covenant is the most spiritually friendly, and Reformed Theological Seminary is also cool.

Pastor Sam believes that women can become deacons (Romans 16), but not elders or pastors. He disagrees with the PCA– deacons need not be ordained. Churches are where leaders are grown. M.Div does not necessarily mean you will be a good pastor.
