Internship

Friday
On Friday I got off work at noon. Telephonics has a 40 hour week: 9 hours a day Monday to Friday, then 4 hours of work on Friday. I think I will need to quit this internship before the summer ends and take a vacation.

I played basketball after lunch until dinner time. After dinner, I sent out an Im4God Newsletter. I guess I’m set for this month. I try to send it out once a month.

We got a new phone for our house. The number is (five one six)-558-7726. My cell is usually a better way to reach me. I tested out the three way calling with Jaron and Amy. We canceled our old phone number, so for now, we don’t get telemarketers calling our house. I wonder if the Christian organizations will still get us to donate. I guess they have our mailing address.

Saturday
After midnight, my mom showed me how to grind the grain for cereal. Mom says; the cereal doesn’t taste bad, but the primary reason to eat it, is because it is healthy. Supposedly, I can research each grain on the internet and see its health benefits, but I’ll take her word for it.

Saturday morning, I wrote up cards/ letters to go with the book I got for the seminary students as a gift. Jon, Ben, Josh, and I met for lunch in Flushing. We were pretty silly; we drove to Flushing only to eat McDonalds. I think next week we’ll eat something better. We plan to meet weekly until school starts for accountability and fellowship. We are planning to discuss the New Attitude 2004 sermons. (We’ll listen to the sermons before Saturday on our own.)

After that, I took a nap in church until the college and career cell group started. That was at 4:30. We did 3rd John. I got back home for dinner at 7:30. At 8:30, I went to Ben’s house and we burned 17 CDs of really good sermons to give out to the peepz at cell group next Saturday.

Sunday
At church, I got to see everyone again. We played basketball at 4p.m. until we got rained out. Then a bunch of us went back to church and just chatted.

For dinner, I went to visit my grandparents in Far Rockaway.

I am currently thinking about what to do August 14th. The church cell group is going canoeing but a second cousin whom I don’t know is having a wedding. I don’t really care for the wedding, because I don’t even know who is getting married. I hope I can go canoeing. Maybe I can make an excuse like, the cell group will need a swimmer around for safety purposes. Hope my grandparents won’t mind.

Take a vacation before school, you’ve been busy.

Now you can make yourself a healthy breakfast when you come back to school. Yummy sand.

    Go canoeing.
