Reagan

Lenny and I headed to D.C. at like 10:22 p.m. yesterday. The lines for Reagan were literally “unending.” It seemed like everyone came because they are off from work tomorrow. Lenny, Jen, and I arrived at the Capitol at like 11:00 p.m. Even finding the end of the line was a timely task. It was an experience to see all the people willing to wait in line. Would these thousands of people pull an all-nighter? It would be an 8 hour wait. We watched the lines and walked around D.C. for a bit. Got home at 1 a.m.-ish.

And to think I could have seen Reagan earlier today with a line that was only 2 hours. Jeremy and I cut through the Capital and we were literally beneath the dome where Reagan is. We even stopped to talk with some friends who were in the line. That should have been my chance! Oh well… hopefully we’ll see each other in heaven.

The Capitol looks different at night.
